Let me explain to you something that I am completely apauled to be witness to. I was just coming home from a party with my parents and we went to cvs, a local drug store near by. I was in the car waiting for my dad to come back out so we could finally get home. Two girls with white pants were outside of the automatic doors and they were texting and laughing and talking to one another. It looked like they we pretty young, but they were attempting to act older than what they really were. They looked sleezy to me, one girls top was too small and her pelvic area was shown, she was wearing a different colored thong that you could see from even a far distant, and to top all of that my younger brother knew her from school. She was a year younger than him, which meant she was thirteen and so was her friend. Now I am seventeen and I still wouldn't have done what these two girls did. They saw a man walk up and he was African American. He had on a striped blue shirt and they confronted him at his car like he knew them. They started to talk and my mom and I watched over the two girls intently. They started laughing with the man and then they handed him some money. He then went into the building and dialed a number on his phone.
My mom and I knew that he was going to buy them something from the drug store. I thought it would most likely be cigs, my mom thought alcohol perhaps. My dad then came out to the car and we told him. He decided to stay and wait. The funny thing is, he decided to go in after the man to see what he was up to. He found him and confronted him in the enterance as he was about to get out. The girls stayed back in confusion. My dad told him it was illegal and he would suggest not doing that. The man told him he wasn't getting the cigs for the girls, but it was quite obvious after what we saw.
The man told the two girls then to get into his car. This is where I went completely crazy. They slowly went and opened both the backseat doors and got in, then the man quickly drove away out of the parking lot! We wrote down his license plate and gave it to the store, but really? Why would any young girl or child get into the car with an adult they don't even know?! Ever hear of "Stranger Danger" girls? The whole cigarette thing is common and I have friends that still do that, but the girls got into this man's car and they drove off fast down the road! What if he is going to rape them? Or murder them?
My real feelings on this are mostly concerned with the girls getting into the car. What if they didn't know him, he looked like he was well into his 30's and he wasn't really that attractive either. He may have been African American and both the girls were Caucasion, but there is really no way they knew him because they stopped him as soon as he came out of his car and they straight up gave him the money and made him go in. Where was he taking them? Could they have gone to the girls house so she could have a ride home? Or did he want to take them to a deserted area to possibly rape or kill them? I am not trying to be racist either by the way. Even if he was white, I would feel the exact same way! Why would they risk their lives and what would their parents think?
I guess it isn't my problem to worry about, but if I had kids that did that in the future, I would be pissed off.
